Today, July 15th, YCF kicks off Opportunity Day with a two week fundraising campaign!
Twelve non-profits from across our region have a chance to receive up to $10,000 in matching grants for donations made to their endowed funds from July 15-July 31. If any of the following agencies support a cause that speaks to you, make a donation to their fund and help them to grow their endowment!
The agencies participating are United Way of Harrison County, Disability Action Center, Arts Monongahela, Bartlett House, Empty Bowls Monongalia, Milan Puskar Health Right, Mon County Habitat for Humanity, Mon River Trails Conservancy, Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center, Mountaineer Area Young Life, Women’s Giving Circle of North Central WV, and Food for Preston
Make checks payable to YCF with the fund name listed on the memo line and mail to PO Box 409, Morgantown, WV 26507. Online donations can be made via PayPal by clicking on the Donate button to the right of this page.
Opportunity Day will be celebrated on September 7th with a luncheon hosted by WVU President E. Gordon Gee at the Blaney House. The matching grants will be announced during the luncheon.
