Judy King Soft Interview Room

On April 5, 2017 the Morgantown Police Department (MPD) opened its new “Judy King Soft Interview Room.” A soft interview room allows for survivors to feel more comfortable in a home-like setting, rather than being interviewed in the same room as the offender. This room is the first of its kind in the state and was made possible through a collaborative effort between MPD, RDVIC, and WVU. Multiple companies made contributions to make this possible, including a grant from the Linda Hamstead Family Trust Rape and Domestic Violence Fund held at YCF. For more information, please view the press release.
